The opening scene where Popeye the snout makes his call to Regan was filmed in Clarendon Cross, looking towards Clarendon Road. The phone box is no longer there, and was probably just a prop.

Squad arriving at restaurant

When the squad arrive at the restaurant to arrest the villains, they pull up outside a shop called 'Fired Earth'. The shop is still there today.

Julie's Restaurant

Julie's Restaurant and Wine Bar, 137 Portland Road, London, W11 4LW
The restaurant where Frankie Little and Christine are having lunch really is called 'Julie's'. Rather unusually it is referred to by its real name, and real location (Portland Road, Notting Hill) throughout the episode. The doorway to the left of Julie's (not shown in the episode) was used as the entrance to The Winchester Club in Minder! Have a butchers at this...

Regan runs through the restaurant and out the back, searching for 'Blondie'. The restaurant's rear entrance is in Hippodrome Place.

Football Ground

QPR - Loftus Road Stadium, South Africa Road, Shepherds Bush, London, W12 7PA
The ramshackle old football ground where Regan first meets Jimmy Dancer is Loftus Road, home of Queens Park Rangers. The Sweeney Companion book rekons the ground was Stamford Bridge, but it's not.

Half way through the episode Regan and Carter meet up in their squad cars to swap info about the fate of Jimmy Dancer. This is on land next to Colet Gardens. This location was used many times, including for the opening titles.
